Where are the closest beaches?

Cockleridge & The Avon (dogs are allowed) – accessible by footpath when the tide is in,  or a walk from Bigbury beach when the tide is out

Challaborough Bay – dog restrictions in summer –  Busy beach location next to the static caravan site.   Fish & Chips and ice creams right by the beach.

Wonwell (dogs are allowed)  – VERY limited parking down a narrow lane!

Bantham – Plenty of parking. Eating options – Gastrobus takeaway, The Sloop Inn and The Village Stores café. Seasonal passenger ferry crossing the river Avon from Bantham slipway to Cockleridge Ham (Bigbury-on-Sea).
